McMenamin’s Edgefield Wedding | Maddie and Sam

Vancouver wa wedding photographer

Over the last few years I have been able to shoot at so many different venues. One of my absolute favorites to work with is McMenamin’s, any of them. Many Portlanders are very familiar with their properties. They are known for purchasing old, historic buildings that are on the verge of demolition and restore them into these amazing places with so many things to see.

Edgefield is one of these masterpieces. It was a poor farm that was built in 1911 on 74 acres on the gateway to the gorge. It now houses multiple bars, restaurants, gardens, swimming pools and a hotel. All of these with amazing details and is PERFECT for a wedding.

Maddie and Sam had their ceremony at the top of the Power House. Open beams, gorgeous lighting, and hidden away from the bustle of the rest of the property. This was perfect for their intimate ceremony.

After the ceremony we took the family outside and to the back of the building which has old, exposed brick with ivy growing all over. The property also has a herb and vegetable garden with details perfect for portraits. You can walk around all over and find fun things to work with.

This is my 3rd time shooting at a different McMenamin’s and I have a few more on my list for this year.

Congratulations to Maddie and Sam!
