The Tree Wisemans had been a place that Sarra remembered fondly as a child. So once she had her own family, it only makes sense to meet her here and play amongst the pines.

Finnegan was non stop energy and was playing “catch me if you can” and running between the trees. The whole time we were moving and running around trying to get him to smile (and get into the portraits as well). I believe that forcing a little one like him to stop and take a portrait takes away his real smile. I did get him to stop now and then and let me tell him horrible jokes to get him to smile.

This was just the weekend before Sarra and Chris got married! They chose to have a cute family session instead of the engagement session that I include in every wedding package. This lets us get to know each other a little bit more before their big, important day. With photographers being at your side your entire wedding day, it’s nice to see how you work together and that you can entirely be yourself for the real, authentic images.

Capturing families in their special spots has been another thing that has made me fall in love with photography.
