Natalie | Kalama High School Class of 2024

As a senior in high school, you want my senior photos to capture your personality and style perfectly.

Natalie wanted an urban setting, and what better place than downtown Vancouver, Washington? The city’s street art and bustling atmosphere perfectly complemented her edgy style.

My goal as a photographer is to make all my clients feel relaxed and confident from the start because it shows in the final photos.

To get Natalie comfortable, I started off in front of my favorite wall in downtown Vancouver. It’s just an all-black wall, but it helps me build relationships with my clients and get them comfortable working with me.

On the corner of Broadway and E 6th Street is an enclosed parking lot that has been turned into an art gallery. Multiple indigenous artists have been allowed to adorn the walls with colorful and gorgeous murals. I love incorporating this art into the background of many senior portraits.

Going in a loop from my studio, we returned to Main Street and visited the alley right by Kindred Homestead (one of my favorite stores EVER). Their alley is also adorned with local artists, and they have a door painted by Ana the Artist. The florals made the perfect accompaniment to the session.

Lastly, a quick stop on the walkway that leads to Esther Short Park. The stairs are a great way to frame senior portraits.

If you’re a senior, it’s time to start thinking about your senior session and booking your photographer before the fall rush. Missy Fant Photography is a great option for your senior session needs.
