Ever wondered how crucial a stellar wedding team can be in turning your big day from ‘just another wedding’ to the oh-my-gosh-can-we-do-that-again event of the century? Get ready to dive deep into the epic tale of Stacey and Chad, a power duo who had their magical wedding images taken my dream team and rescuers. Their journey unravels the unmistakable magic that happens behind the scenes, proving why investing in a top-notch wedding team is a total game-changer.
Stacey and Chad’s wedding date was October 1st, 2022, I went in for an emergency surgery on September 13th, 2022 with orders to take it easy for eight weeks.
This can put so many wrenches in people’s plans, but, over the years, I have been putting in the work to build an amazing network of people that can rely on each other.
With a quick message, I had my associate photographers Brianna and Lauren all filled in and ready to rock.

I can’t go into much detail about the wedding of these two, but I can tell you how thankful I am to have such amazing people (and photographers) on my team. I wouldn’t be doing what I do for so long if they weren’t here.
Brianna and I have been working together since we joined forces to rent a little studio in the Academy in downtown.
Through the years, we’ve helped each other out at weddings and have learned that we have so much in common, including my best friend basically being related to her through a kid and marriage.
Lauren is another story. I have been friends with her mom since Lauren was in middle school. I know that makes me feel old, but her mom is seriously such an amazing person. Which makes it very easy to know that Lauren takes very much after her Mom. Lauren is also a world traveler and adventurer, which makes her hard to pin down for work, but when I can get her, she has an amazing eye for photography and a personality that fits in perfectly with Brianna and I.

Being able to lean on these two when I was out of commission for two months is absolutely amazing and I know that if emergencies come up, they have my back.
If you are a small business owner, make sure you have emergency plans in place! Especially if you work in an industry with once in a lifetime events, like wedding photography.
