Tom and Lacy’s wedding at The Victorian Belle was everything you could dream of—romantic, fun, and full of unforgettable moments. As a wedding photographer in Portland, Oregon, I’ve had the privilege of shooting in some pretty incredible venues, but The Victorian Belle always stands out with its historic charm and stunning grounds.
The day started with the pair getting ready inside the gorgeous, historic house. Lacy and her group were in the second-floor master bedroom, while Tom and his friends were in the attic.
The master bedroom offers numerous sets of antique furniture, making it the perfect place to pop the champagne, hang out, and relax before the wedding day begins.
The attic is a massive room with angled ceilings and a pool table in the middle. It’s another good spot for drinks and chilling with friends.
A fun first look that perfectly matched Tom and Lacy’s personalities. Nestled in the turret of this gorgeous mansion, Tom waited nervously on the antique loveseat. Lacy tapped him on the shoulder, and his face lit up as she appeared beside him.
And let’s talk about the Victorian Belle decor and their taxidermied birds.
The ceremony was an emotional masterpiece. There wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd as Tom and Lacy exchanged heartfelt vows. But the sweetest moment? Their daughter joined them at the end, turning the ceremony into a true family celebration. Cue all the happy tears!
The reception kicked the party into high gear. The large tent was perfect for their seated dinner, and the gazebo opened up to be the dance floor. After the drinks started flowing, it got a little crazy.
As the sun set, we snuck away for some intimate portraits. The Victorian Belle’s lush landscaping and twinkling fountain created a dreamy photo backdrop. It was pure magic between the golden-hour light and Tom and Lacy’s undeniable chemistry.
If you’re planning a wedding at The Victorian Belle and looking for a photographer to capture all the fun, romance, and quirky moments, I’d love to chat! Let’s make your big day as unforgettable as Tom and Lacy’s.
