At the heart of my work is connection.
Connection between people.
Between place and memory.
Between who you are and how you’re seen.
This work isn’t about perfection.
It’s about presence.
Guided by a North Star, Not a Trend
I don’t chase what’s flashy or loud. I’m guided by something steadier.
Think North Star energy: constant, grounding, reliable.
When things feel chaotic, you want someone who knows where they’re going and can help you feel oriented again. That’s how I approach photography. Calm, prepared, observant, and ready to adapt when the clouds roll in.
Behind the Camera
My family is my grounding force and the reason connection matters so deeply in my work. They remind me that love lives in the small, everyday moments and that being present matters more than being perfect.
It’s why I photograph people with care, patience, and respect. The love I document for others starts here.
The Pacific Northwest isn’t just a backdrop in my work, it’s part of the story. From rainy city streets in Portland, Oregon to mossy trails and historic buildings in Vancouver, Washington, place matters. Weather matters. Texture matters.
I believe rain is honest, fog adds depth, and real environments bring out real people. Whether I’m photographing weddings, portraits, or brands, I approach each session with respect for the land and the moments unfolding within it.
Everybody Belongs Here
Full stop.
I photograph couples, families, creatives, and businesses of all identities with the belief that everyone deserves to feel seen, respected, and celebrated. Love between humans matters. Community matters. Being documented as you truly are matters.
You don’t need to perform.
You don’t need to fit a mold.
You just need to show up.
I’ll take it from there.
Rooted in Community
I’ve built this business through years of showing up, staying connected, and investing in community. Many of my clients return again and again, becoming collaborators, advocates, and friends.
As a Vancouver, WA photographer serving Portland, OR, I work closely with local businesses, creatives, and families to create imagery that reflects real people in real places.
This isn’t just work I do. It’s work I believe in.
Let’s Make Something Meaningful
If you’re looking for a Vancouver, WA or Portland, OR photographer who values connection, community, and honest storytelling, you’re in the right place.
Whether we’re standing in the rain, inside a historic building, or in the middle of a moment that matters deeply to you, my goal is always the same:
To create photographs that feel honest.
To honor connection.
To build people up.

This Mount Rainier engagement session wasn’t about checking off locations. It was about following the road, skipping the crowds, discovering hidden waterfalls, and letting the Pacific Northwest set the pace for something real and unforgettable.
Rachel & Macon | Cape Horn Estates Wedding
Some weddings feel like a production. Rachel and Macon’s wedding at Cape Horn Estates? Pure connection. A tight crew of family and friends, the Columbia Gorge hills towering in the background, and traditions that made it clear this wasn’t just another pretty day—it...
Balancing Art and AI in Photography
Let’s clear something up: yes, I use AI for some things—but never for creating or altering the actual image. What you see in your gallery? That was really there. Real people, real moments, real light. The AI I use is behind-the-scenes stuff—tools that help me work...
