What I Do
I photograph families exactly as they are.
I guide you just enough to keep things moving, then let the magic happen in between. I welcome noise, wiggles, snack breaks, muddy shoes, side quests, and kids who absolutely will not stand still. My job is to create space for real connection, capture the fleeting moments you don’t even realize are happening, and turn the beautiful chaos of your everyday love into photographs that feel honest, warm, and wildly you.
Do we need to know how to pose?
Nope. In fact, please don’t. I’ll give light direction when needed, but mostly I let families move, interact, and be themselves. The best photos happen when you’re laughing, wrangling kids, and just doing your thing, not holding a pose for dear life.
What if my kids don’t cooperate?
Perfect. That’s real life. I expect wiggles, big feelings, snack breaks, and the occasional sprint toward freedom. I work fast, adapt on the fly, and lean into the chaos. Some of the most loved images come from moments that look “uncooperative” in real time.
Can we bring our dog?
Yes. Always yes. Dogs are family, full stop. If they’re part of your everyday life, they belong in your photos. Leashes, treats, zoomies, slobber, and all. Some of the best moments happen when a dog barrels into the frame or insists on being exactly where the love is. If your family includes paws, they better be there.
