I got to know more about Erin and Justin from our engagement session in downtown Portland. After walking around the waterfront, having fun in Powell’s , and bonding over our love of Princess Bride, I knew they were amazing people.
I met Erin and her party at her hotel in downtown Portland while Charity met up with Justin and his groomsmen at the barbers. Beer and darts were in line of the boys whilst the girls sipped champagne and made sure that they looked perfect for Erin’s big day.
The wedding was in the middle of summer at one of Portland’s lesser known parks. Council Crest is tucked up in the hills among neighborhoods and twisted roads. After a few logistic hiccups, they had a perfect little ceremony surrounded by friends, overlooking Portland, and a backdrop of Mount Hood in the distance.
The reception was an intimate affair tucked into Erin’s father’s gorgeously landscaped backyard. In true Portland fashion, it was catered by a delicious food truck with local ingredients.
Charity and I had a great time with Erin and Justin and wish them so much happiness.
