Storm City Rollers Vs. Sis-Q Rollerz

Storm City Roller Girls

Working with an organization that is about ” promoting the empowerment of women of all races, national origins, religious beliefs, sexual orientations and body types by creating positive athletic role models and a community-based” is always a great cause with me.

I call it a girls night for my daughter and me, she gets to hang out with some of the team’s kids, play, and see how amazing these women are. I get to capture and support an organization that has an excellent message to share with my daughter and many more.

November 11th was no different. The teamwork, positive attitudes, and all-out fun these ladies have is contagious. The fact that all the teams I have seen them play against, I have never seen bad sportsmanlike treatment. That’s not saying there isn’t any pushing going on during the bout; it’s when that whistle calls off the jam when you see them joking and dancing with each other.

Thank you to the Storm City and Sus-Q girls for another great bout and a beautiful message to share.
