The Marshall’s Family Portrait Session in West Linn, OR

Vancouver wa Photographer

We always get tricked here in the Pacific Northwest. It looks sunny and gorgeous outside, but once you’re out there, you freeze. Luckily, the Marshall family put up with the cold to get their family portraits done out at Mary S. Young Park in West Linn, OR.

The park had some great walking paths with access to little creeks as well as the banks of the Willamette.

We climbed over the rocks on the bank to face away from the sun (no one wants squinty faces) and hopefully shelter from some of the wind. In the end, it just gave the girls the wind blown look that all the mdels go for with their hair.

I really liked the fallen log and glad they wre good sports climbing up onto it.

We even snuck in a cute maternity portrait!

Taking a different way back to the trail head, we found a cute little bridge and a wooden staircase that lead back to a path with some gorgeous lighting and trees, so I made the reluctant teens stop and give their parents a nice portrait.

Thank you to this amazing family for putting up with the cold weather adn having some fun with me out in West Linn!
