Gabby and Nathan’s engagement session in the Columbia River Gorge was a true adventure, filled with breathtaking scenery, vibrant wildflowers, and unforgettable moments.
The session involved hiking around the trails at Government Cove, with Gabby and Nathan embracing the natural beauty of the region as the perfect backdrop for their engagement photos.

The Natural Beauty of Government Cove
Government Cove is tucked away between Washington and Oregon along the Columbia River Gorge. It boasts breathtaking views of the river, the scenic area’s hills, and the Cascade Range on the Washington side. The Cove extends slightly into the river, offering stunning vistas up and down the magnificent gorge.
On the day of Gabby and Nathan’s session, we had the location all to ourselves, so we got to have fun and explore without me having to edit anyone in the distance out. This spot can get popular when the weather is excellent.
It’s important to note that Government Cove is land owned by the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, Oregon. This undeveloped peninsula has no facilities (restrooms, water, trash cans, etc.), so please, please, PLEASE respect the land if you plan to visit.

Gabby and Nathan’s engagement session at Government Cove was a delightful celebration of their love and adventurous spirits.
We hiked all over the island, enjoying the views from the top of the cliff and winding down to climb along the logs at the shore. I absolutely love this location due to the variety of backgrounds we saw.

After the main session at the cove, we made a fun stop at the East Wind Drive-In for ice cream for some cute shots!
