I spoiled myself earlier this year and bought a drone. After researching for weeks, studying the FAA rules, and read review after review, the DJI Phantom 3 was purchased.
I am hoping that with some practice and studying that I will pick up my commercial drone license and be able to incorporate aerial shots in with my portrait and wedding packages.
Until then, I’ll be taking it around on hikes and shooting my beloved landscape with it.
I launched it this week and starting capturing the mist that hangs over the creek in our valley. We were lucky to have a gorgeous sunset that ever added to the view.
Also, I snuck in a little clip at the beginning of my pup. As I was launching and flying down my field, he was out hunting.
So here it is, my first ever drone video!
And here are some fun overhead shots I got as well. I can’t wait to play with this some more!
